Ms. No. 110 and 159, dated 10.05.2016 and 03.11.2017 respectively, the Governing Body under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister of AP, Minister of NRI Empowerment as Vice chairman, President and CEO of APNRT Society and 5 Secretaries of Govt. of AP as members was constituted.

The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), established in 2016 under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, works to promote Brand Andhra Pradesh among the global Telugu diaspora, address NRT issues, and attract investments. As the nodal agency for the AP Migrants’ Welfare and Development Policy, it ensures migrant safety, supports reintegration, and channels diaspora contributions for state development. Key initiatives include the Migrant Resource Center, a 24x7 helpline, and the ₹528 crore self-financed NRT ICON Tower project.
