As part of its Welfare, Development & Safety initiatives, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched the “Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima (PBB)” Insurance Scheme through APNRT Society.
This scheme provides comprehensive insurance coverage to Employees, Migrant Workers, and Students from Andhra Pradesh who are living, working, or studying abroad — ensuring their safety and security wherever they are.

1. Accidental Death / Permanent Disability:
• ₹10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh Rupees) in case of accidental death or permanent disability abroad.
• Coverage remains valid even if the employer or location changes, or during visits to India or any third country.
2. Airfare Reimbursement (Insured / Dead Body + Attendant):
• Economy-class airfare to the nearest international airport in India for the insured or dead body, including one attendant, in case of accidental death or permanent disability.
3. Medical Expenses for Insured:
Up to ₹1,00,000/- per policy period (max ₹50,000 per hospitalization) for hospitalization due to accidental injuries or sickness anywhere — in India, third countries, or the country of employment.
4. Maternity Benefits (for Women Employees):
• ₹35,000/- for normal delivery.
• ₹50,000/- for caesarean delivery
• Minimum 9 months from policy start required to claim.
5. Medical Coverage for Family Members:
• Spouse and first two dependent children (up to 21 years) get up to ₹50,000/- per year for medical expenses if the insured dies due to accidental death
6. Airfare Reimbursement – If Unfit or Terminated within 12 Months:
• Economy-class airfare to India if the insured falls sick, is declared medically unfit, or employment is terminated within 12 months of policy start.
7. Airfare Reimbursement – Contract Issues or Premature Termination:
• Economy-class airfare to India if the insured is not received by the employer, faces a disadvantageous contract change, or employment is terminated through no fault of the insured.
8. Legal Expenses:
• Up to ₹45,000/- for legal costs related to employment disputes abroad.

• Up to ₹1,00,000/- per policy period (maximum ₹50,000 per hospitalization) for hospitalization due to accidental injuries.
• Coverage applies in India, any third country, or the country of study.
4. Airfare Reimbursement – If Medically Unfit:
• Economy-class one-way airfare up to the international airport in India nearest to the native place.
• Applicable if the insured person is declared medically unfit due to accidental injuries, leading to discontinuation of studies abroad.

This insurance policy is designed exclusively for Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs) under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Enrollment in this scheme will not affect eligibility for any other Government welfare benefits. “Take Insurance and Be Protected”
The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), established in 2016 under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, works to promote Brand Andhra Pradesh among the global Telugu diaspora, address NRT issues, and attract investments. As the nodal agency for the AP Migrants’ Welfare and Development Policy, it ensures migrant safety, supports reintegration, and channels diaspora contributions for state development.
